that are about above the knee length. I want to wear my black pumas with them. I’m not girly AT ALL, but I heard that it was kind of a no-no to ever wear navy and black. I don’t really think it’s that bad though. I think it looks fine. What do you think?

I have a navy blue shirt dress from the Gap and I have these great knee high boots that are a camel color. The dress is on the short side so I don’t want to wear just stockings. What color tights would be able to be worn with this?
according to their size chart , a size 16 in the girls section has waist and hip measurements of 27, and 36 . My waist measurement is 24 and hip is 34 . I am going to order stuff off line form old navy , the olny thing I am worried about is that they might not fit because stuff in the girls section is usually narrow at the hips , and it might fit uncomfortably . I would go to the adult section but I really don’t like the selection they have.
so based on my waist and hip measurements would a girls size 16 be too small for me?
