Different Paths to become a US Navy Captain?
So I am 18, got close to 60 college credits and have 2 years of college left. I am considering going career Navy as an officer and I eventually want to work my way up to becoming a Captain of a large vessel. Now what is the best type of officer to be to accomplish this in the shortest amount of time? Also would it be possible to do aviation until a certain rank and then transfer over to something more related to Captaining a ship?
Thanks!
Where can I find a navy blue or khaki school skirt/shorts?
It has to be knee length, in khaki or navy blue, it has to be junior size (so no kid school uniform companies like french toast or izod or w/e). I know Aeropostale has some however they were too short and were above the knee (my school is really particular about skirt length). Also it can’t have any designs, etc. In addition I don’t want to order it online so please tell me a store in Columbus, OH…thanks!
Oh and for the shorts any bermuda shorts is fine just in khaki or navy but it cant have patched pockets (like most jeans do) and no designs and has to be knee length!
Do you find Old Navy pants’ waist size is bigger than the actual size?
Whenever I buy a pair of shorts or pants from Old Navy, the waist stretches or something. I have a 29 inch waist. I buy 29w30L and they get too big after a few days of wearing them. I actually measured my waist size and the pants waist and I am 29 inches around but the 29W pants were actually 31inches. Of course, I had to go return them. I was wondering if Old Navy has a bad measuring tape or if they do it on purpose to make people feel skinny. Either way, not a good practice IMO.
Is an international student available to join Navy or US Airforce to become a pilot?
I am an international student in a college and I want to wonder if I can join the military as I recieved a letter from Selective Service system which indicates that I have a selective service number. In fact, I want to be a pilot. So Is it possible to become a pilot with 400 degrees short sight on both eyes? And also do they accept any operations to correct the eyes? And I want to know more about how I can enter to become a pilot in Navy and US Airforce?
