Please don’t tell me I don’t have to cut my hair. In the Navy females WILL have their hair cut while at RTC. I simply want my hair dresser to give me a better cut. ;-)

So if you have to be on active duty for 4 years does that mean you cannot see your family or friends at home for 4 years except for the very rare and short occasions that you might get for leave?

This is the biggest factor that makes me question joining the military…I’d like to be able to see my family and friends and have some sort of life while I’m still young.

By the time I go to basic training I will be 2 classes short of receiving my bachelor’s in Acct. and Finance., which I plan to attain after “A” school. Since I am not a US citizen yet, I can not go to OCS even if I have the 4 year degree, so opted for enlisting and when I receive my citizenship in 2 years apply for officer school. But here is my question, is the NAVY willing to take in to OCS people that have not graduated from Annapolis? If so what is the cut off age to apply for OCS?
