And this is a fact I e-mailed Old Navy and they said they were. In a short period of time you will be able to get Plus Size clothing thru their website. Didn’t give a reason.

not the target market they want

the clothes are cheaply made and overpriced for the quality you recieve there. yet trendy, that is why we are there!

I’ve worked for old navy for two years and the reason the employees were given was because that sales in the plus size section were at an all time low. They basically decided not enough people were buying the clothes. Nothing against plus-size women at all. Just a wise marketable decision. But they do have a nice selection. I hope you can enjoy it online as well. sorry if you were inconvienced.

It wasn’t as high a seller as they’d hoped. It’s all about what makes money and what doesn’t. Unfortunately their marketing is geared more towards the teeny-boppers who are a size 2 as opposed to the gals who need a little more coverage. I was right at the border of regular and plus so I know the frustration. On the upside they have the items available online.
