I think 2 is possible, but you need to be aware that whether you sign for 2/4/6/8 active duty years, your contract will end up with eight.
So say you spend 4 active, the other 4 are reserve. If we were to enter a major war, they could call you back into service.
Two, three, four, and six year enlistments.
Two and three year enlistments require active reserve time.

unless you go to a military college then your commissioned and required to serve 4 years active
