Men’s pants are measured based on waist size. Simply measure the area where her pants normally rest, in inches, making sure not to use the tape measure too tightly or too loosely. If it’s an odd number that you come up with, go up or down an inch, as most pants are only sold with even numbered sizes.
For example, my husband has a 43 inch waist, we get him a size 44.
I wear a size 8 and if I wear men’s pants the waist is 32.
I just went and looked it all up. If she wears a 24, that means her waist is around 45″ or a 3X
So the size in men’s that you would need would be a 44-46″
