They are short-ish shorts. I thought perhaps navy tights, thosw white lace up pumps that everyone seems to be wearing, a white vest top, a navy cardigan and an anchor necklace. What do you think, any alternatives ?

I really like the white vest top and anchor necklace ideas- very nautical chic. I would by navy blue knee-highs, instead of just tights. The knee-highs help you show off some leg and add a flirty appeal. I’m not a huge fan of cardigans, but I imagined your outfit with a navy elbow-length light thermal. The elbow length will balance with the knee highs and give you a more polished look. I’m inlove with your shoe choice, definetally choose white.
white , red or even blach shirts would work.
i wouldn’t wear tights with shorts but everyone has their own style….i would wear the shorts with a white tank and navy vest gold anchor necklace and gold bangles and white pumps or navy heels

that sounds really cute and i like the shoe choice but you can not wear lace up heels with tights it’s just too much going on in the leg area. I suggest you just ditch the tights.
wear slip-on beaded soft sole moccasins. Go to get the white beaded thunderbird soft sole moccasins. A VERY HOT LOOK. The beads would match the shorts perfectly.
