Angel asked:

My eighth trade graduation is next month and I have already bought a dress. It’s a short navy blue empire waist dress with a white design at the bottom part. What color shoes would I wear? White? Black? Silver? How tall should they be? I’m 5’3″ by the way. I also have medium-long straight black hair. Any cute hairstyle recommendations? I’m also considering wearing a small little jacket thing that you wear over a dress so my teachers don’t kick me out or whatever. What color should the little jacket be? Black? White? Also, I need help with the acessories. Such as necklace, bracelet, and earrings. And any other tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’m thinking silver heels for your shoes, they shouldn’t be too high because maybe your school has a dress code on how high and you want to be comfortable too.

for your hair, maybe down and curly

the jacket should be silver if you can find one to match the shoes. :)

stick with the silver theme on your accessories as well. very easy to find accessories that are silver.
    hope i helped!

omg im in the same scenario too! u should wear a crisp short cover up(like one of those half shirt things) and ur shoes should be black. let ur shoes be 2-3 inches so u won’t get kicked out and look too tall. add the silver madness to your accessories to stand out and w/ ur hair, just curl the bottom part of it so you don’t look like your getting married! get a funky clip(that matches your accessories) and brush your teeth before you leave for graduation! good luck! (btw if your going to wear clunky bracelets go easy on the rings. same for earrings and necklaces. if not, remember this—out of the earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and rings, don’t let all be overpowering and big; or too small too see.)

I would definitely not pair the dress with a pair of white heels. It would clash too much with the white part at the bottom. I think you should go for black heels. Silver heels would have been okay with a lighter shade of blue. So I think they should be black and have no more than three inch long heels. I’m also thinking they should be open-sandal heels. Something like this:
As for the jacket, I’m not that sure what color the jacket should be. Again, I wouldn’t go for white. Maybe instead of a jacket, you could wear a shrug:.
And maybe, to be safe, it could be black in color.
For jewelry, I think you should go for simple silver jewelry. Nothing too extravagant. Maybe a nice chain and dangling earrings.
    Something like these:
